Apple crumble

Peeled, cored & diced apple (Granny Smith or any firm apple)
Sugar, cinnamon to taste
Crushed corn flakes
All-purpose flour
Unsalted butter
Ramkins or baking glasses (ok I made that one up, just any container that can be baked will probably do)

1. Cook apple with sugar and cinnamon till tender. Juices will thicken slightly when cooled

2. Mix flour, butter, corn flakes and a dash of sugar till you get a crumbly consistency. (Omit sugar if you use frosted corn flakes)

3. Spoon apple mixture into container and cover with crumble mixture. Bake at 200C (390F) till golden brown.

Also tried this with pears ... yum
